    I have twin boys that just turned three. One drinks a lot and therefore wakes up in a wet bed even with a nighttime diaper and a pull up on. Our old mattress pad that fit like a sheet did little to nothing to protect the mattress. After he ruined his crib mattress we bought them twin beds and a foam/gel topped mattress and they are thick. These zippered fully enclosed mattress covers have preformed great. Last night he said he was wet and we did a complete bed change and the mattress was dry!!! They wash easy I do recommend two people to put them on the mattress but can be done by one. If you want to ensure your mattress then these are great.
