Want the Ultimate Protection for Your Mattress?

SureGuard Mattress Encasements provide 360-degree premium protection against liquids, stains, allergens, and bed bugs. They are ideal for households with pets or children, or anyone seeking to maintain a fully sealed and hygienic sleep environment.

Leaving your mattress unprotected from just one bedtime accident can result in a permanent bed stain or odor, which can be near impossible to remove. A SureGuard six-sided waterproof mattress protector will provide lasting protection for your mattress, giving you peace of mind and a cleaner sleep surface for you and your family.

100% Waterproof

With SureGuard you no longer have to worry about spilled drinks, potty training accidents or messy pets ruining your mattress.

Our waterproof mattress cover provides six-sided protection against perspiration, urine, liquids and stains – prolonging the life of your mattress.

The soft 100% cotton terry top surface naturally absorbs liquids and moisture, while regulating the temperature of your sleep surface, making it ideal for those who prefer a cooler, drier, and more breathable sleep environment.

The breathable, noiseless waterproof backing blocks liquids while allowing body heat and air to circulate through, keeping your mattress cool and dry.

(Helpful tip – For frequent accidents and easy clean-ups, place a fitted SureGuard Mattress Protector over the encasement.)

Blocks Bed Bugs

Bed bugs tend to settle in mattresses where they can multiply and disrupt your rest. This causes a widespread problem for those looking to maintain a clean and protected sleep environment.

SureGuard’s advanced membrane blocks bed bugs from entering your mattress. The bite-proof barrier also prevents existing bed bugs from escaping the mattress, ensuring they remain isolated and cannot thrive.

The super fine zipper with Invisi-Zip and SureSeal technology completely seals off the mattress from bed bugs, so that you can have a more restful night’s sleep.

(Helpful tip – Use together with SureGuard Pillow Protectors and a Box Spring Encasement for added protection. There’s no need to throw out your favorite bedding.)

Hypoallergenic

SureGuard’s hypoallergenic backing blocks dust mites, allergens, bacteria, mildew and mold from entering your bed. The thin light-weight mattress pad helps maintain a fresh and irritant-free sleep surface without changing the feel of your mattress.

The mattress protector is compatible with just about any type of mattress, including pillow top, innerspring, memory foam, latex, inflatable beds, sleeper sofas, foldable and portable mattresses. It should work on any mattress that can be removed from the bed frame and is not connected to any hoses or hose attachments.

(Helpful tip – Line drying the SureGuard in direct sunlight for at least 4 hours will naturally kill dust mites and allergens left in the cover after the wash cycle.)

Durable & Easy to Clean
Just pop it in the machine.

The SureGuard Mattress Encasement can be machine washed and dried after each accident, or periodically to maintain freshness.

How often to wash?

  • General protection – every 2nd month or after each accident
  • Allergy prevention – every month or as needed for a deep clean.
  • Bedbug protection – keep the mattress sealed for at least 1 year to ensure any existing bed bugs remain isolated and cannot thrive.

(Helpful tip – Wash and dry before first use to open up the cotton terry loops and maximize softness and absorbency.)

  • Washing – Machine wash separately in cool water with a mild detergent (no bleaching agents).
  • Drying – Tumble dry on a low or no heat setting with sheets or towels.
  • Wash and dry unzipped with material side facing out.
  • Do not iron. Do not dry clean.

Let’s get into it – do you need one of these? If so, this may be a good option. I bought one for the recent mattress I got, and I have nothing but positives to say. The put on wasn’t a hassle, making it an easy task. And so far, it’s been pretty durable perhaps because of the decent thickness. The padding is also relatively good making it comfortable for sleeping. So all in all, if you are in the market for one, I’d consider this one! (Size: Queen | Depth: 6-8″ Deep | source: Amazon)

A protector only covers the top and sides (like a fitted sheet).

The encasement surrounds all six sides of the mattress and zips shut for total isolation.

Yes. Every side is lined with a waterproof membrane to protect against spills, bed-wetting, and moisture from any angle.

Yes. It features "Invisi-Zip" and "SureSeal" technology, making the zipper teeth fine enough and the closure tight enough to prevent bed bugs from entering or escaping.

Yes, the protective backing on all six sides is specifically designed so that bed bugs cannot bite through.

It creates a 360 degree barrier, preventing bed bugs from getting in or out of your mattress.

While it is "bed bug bite-proof," it is not bite- or claw-proof for pets. Sharp cat or dog claws can puncture the membrane if they scratch directly at the cover.

Yes. It creates a complete barrier that prevents dust mites, pollen, pet dander, and mold from settling in your mattress or reaching the sleeper.

You must measure your mattress's length, width, and—most importantly—depth. SureGuard mattress encasements come in various size and depth options (e.g., 6-8", 9-12", 13-16").

Remember to take into account the depth of the mattress pad or topper that you will encase with the mattress.

For an adjustable mattress, always choose the next depth up, so there is enough material when the mattress bends.

Not sure which size/depth is right for you? Please contact us for assistance.

Absolutely. It is designed to work with all mattress types, including memory foam, innerspring, latex, and hybrids.

NB: Mattress encasements do not work on mattresses that have hoses or external attachments. It is not possible to fully close the encasement with a hose in the way.

SureGuard makes specific Box Spring Encasements. While you could use a mattress version, the box spring cover includes free adhesive felt pads to cover any sharp edges on your bed frame.

It has a bit of stretch to ensure a snug, wrinkle-free fit, but it is not "one-size-fits-all".

Always choose the right size and depth option for your mattress.

No. The top surface is made of 100% cotton, which is soft and silent. It does not produce the "crinkling" sound associated with vinyl covers.

The cotton terry is breathable and helps wick moisture. However, because it is a full waterproof seal, some very hot sleepers may notice a slight increase in warmth. While others may notice the bed to be slightly cooler. It comes down to personal preference.

To help you stay cool, we recommend pairing your encasement with natural fiber bedding like pure cotton or bamboo. These materials allow for better airflow and temperature regulation.

In contrast, synthetic materials—such as polyester, microfiber, nylon, and foam—tend to trap body heat, which can lead to an uncomfortably warm "sleeping hot" experience.

No. It is designed to be "invisible" under your sheets, so it shouldn't significantly change the firmness or texture of your bed.

Because it is a six-sided cover, it requires two people to lift the mattress, slide the encasement on and zip it up. Please follow the included step-by-step instructions.

If you find it difficult to stand your mattress upright, we do have one other way to install the encasement, with the mattress on your bed as normal. Please follow the steps below:

  1. Slide the mattress about 1 or 2 feet away from the wall/headboard.
  2. In that 1 or 2 foot gap, place the opened encasement such that the cotton terry side is on top, and the unzipped opening is facing your mattress.
  3. Slowly slide the top and bottom sections of the encasement over the mattress, lifting the mattress slightly as you go.
  4. Finish by completing steps 4 to 6 of the included instructions.

While not strictly required, we highly recommend washing and drying your encasement before its first use. This simple step opens up the cotton fibers, ensuring a softer feel and maximum absorbency from night one.

Machine wash in cool water with mild to normal detergent. Keep the cover fully unzipped for washing and drying. Avoid bleach, or bleaching agents.

To help your SureGuard last as long as possible, steer clear of spot cleaners and harsh detergents. We recommend using a minimal amount of detergent—start with just one half of your usual measurement to prevent buildup and protect the fabric.

Yes, but only on a Low or No Heat setting. High heat can damage the waterproof membrane.

Standard Protection: Wash every two months or immediately following a spill or accident.

Tip - Place the fitted sheet style protector over the encasement for quick and easy cleanups after accidental spills.

Allergy Management: Wash monthly, or more frequently if you notice your allergy symptoms flaring up.

Bed Bug Treatment: Keep the encasement zipped shut and on the mattress for at least one full year to ensure any trapped bed bugs are completely eliminated through starvation.

Yes. It is GREENGUARD Gold certified, meaning it is tested for low chemical emissions and is safe for sensitive environments like nurseries.

No. It is free from these harmful chemicals and toxic fire retardants.

SureGuard offers a 10-year full replacement warranty, provided you follow the care and installation instructions.

Yes, as long as the electric blanket is placed on top of the encasement and used on a low-to-medium heat setting.

Install the encasement and leave it on for at least 12 months. This ensures any bed bugs trapped inside will starve and die, as they cannot escape the seal.

Please note that SureGuard Encasements are part of the bed bug treatment process, not the entire solution, as bed bugs can live in other areas of the room, not just the mattress and box spring.

We recommend that you follow other treatment steps too, such as:

  • Clean bedding, linens, curtains, and clothing in hot water and dry them on the highest dryer setting - please note that SureGuard products should only be washed and dried on a low or no heat setting (35C/95F), as high heat may damage the waterproof backing.
  • For stuffed animals, shoes, and other items that can't be washed, place them in the dryer and run on high for 30 minutes.
  • For any furniture in your bedroom, use a stiff brush to scrub the seams to remove bedbugs and their eggs before vacuuming.
  • Vacuum your bed, furniture and surrounding area frequently. After vacuuming, immediately place the vacuum cleaner bag in a sealed plastic bag, and dispose of in the garbage can outside.
  • Repair cracks in plaster and glue down peeling wallpaper to get rid of places bedbugs can hide.
  • Get rid of clutter around the bed.
  • Treat the usual areas of the room where bed bugs can hide with some natural food grade DE (Diatomaceous Earth).

If none of these steps help, it is safest and most effective to hire an experienced pest control professional for bedbug extermination.

No problem. Please contact us for assistance. We're here to help.
